About XEYAR Products

Patented Battery-Buffered EV Charging and BESS — Engineered for Every Use Case.

XEYAR Technologies delivers 15 patented (pending) products spanning battery-buffered DC fast charging from 30 kW to 720 kW and Battery Energy Storage Systems from 6.9 kWh residential to 2,362 kWh grid-scale containers. Headquartered in Wilmington, Delaware with offices in Mississauga, Ontario and Dubai, UAE, XEYAR serves the USA, Canada, GCC, MENA, and India. All products share one USPTO-patented shared DC bus architecture under UL 9540 3rd Edition, with field-selectable supercapacitor or sodium-ion chemistry per project.

Battery-Buffered DC Fast Chargers

Every XEYAR DC fast charger includes onsite battery buffer (supercapacitor or sodium-ion) and a bidirectional Power Conversion System (UL 1741 / CSA C22.2). The patented shared DC bus architecture lets grid power and battery power flow additively — delivering 240+ kW charging on standard 83 kW grid service without utility upgrades.

Five product families serve every commercial DC fast charging use case:

  • XEYAR-PEGASUS (30–40 kW × 2–8 ports) — workplace fleet, dealerships, small commercial
  • XEYAR-FALCÃO (120–360 kW × 1–16 ports) — highway corridors, gas stations, large commercial
  • XEYAR-SPHINX (240–360 kW ultra-fast × 1–8 ports) — premium urban, charge plazas
  • XEYAR-KOMODO (240–720 kW HPC hub × 4–12 dispensers) — heavy-duty trucks, megawatt charging
  • XEYAR-MAVERICK (custom 30–1000+ kW) — non-standard projects requiring custom engineering

All chargers are NEVI-aligned, ZEVIP-eligible, Buy America compliant, FEOC-exclusion compliant, and qualify for the Section 30C federal tax credit (30% up to $100,000 per charger under IRA 2022). Deploy in 4–6 weeks vs 12–24 months for direct-grid DCFC.

Battery Energy Storage Systems

XEYAR BESS products deliver lithium-free energy storage from 6.9 kWh wall-mountable residential units to 2,362 kWh grid-scale containers. Both supercapacitor and sodium-ion chemistries are classified non-thermal-runaway, eliminating fire-suppression infrastructure and unlocking indoor and multi-unit residential building deployments under NFPA 855.

Ten product families serve every stationary storage use case:

  • PHOENIX — wall-mount residential storage with solar integration
  • DRAGONFLY — modular commercial storage, peak shaving, solar/wind co-location
  • DRACO — data center UPS, sub-millisecond response, 500K+ cycles
  • LEVIATHAN — grid-scale 2,362 kWh containers, frequency regulation
  • NOMAD · CORVUS · CETUS — mobile, telecom 5G, AI compute buffering
  • WOLVERINE · HELIOS · TITAN — microgrids, integrated PV+EV, custom builds

BESS products qualify for the federal Investment Tax Credit (ITC), NYSERDA, MASS DOER, CEC, and major utility incentive programs. Sodium-ion ships non-hazardous under EU 2013/56/EU. SuperCap operates from −40 °C to +65 °C without HVAC.

Frequently Asked

Common questions about XEYAR products.

For product-specific specifications, certifications, and pricing — see the dedicated EV chargers or BESS pages above.

What does XEYAR build?
XEYAR builds two product families on one patented (pending) architecture: (1) Battery-Buffered EV Chargers — five DC fast charger product lines (PEGASUS, FALCÃO, SPHINX, KOMODO, MAVERICK) from 30 kW to 720 kW per port; and (2) Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) — ten product lines from residential storage (PHOENIX) to megawatt-class utility containers (TITAN). All 15 products are available in supercapacitor or sodium-ion chemistry on the same USPTO-patented (pending) DC ESS architecture certified under UL 9540 3rd Edition.
How do I choose between supercapacitor and sodium-ion chemistry?
Choose supercapacitor for high-cycle, high-power, short-duration applications — 500,000+ cycles, sub-millisecond response, 45-year design life. Best for data center UPS, AI compute buffering, telecom backup, ultra-fast EV charging in harsh climates, and frequency regulation. Choose sodium-ion for longer-duration energy storage with higher energy density and faster VPP cycling — 20,000+ cycles, 25-year life, non-hazardous transport. Best for residential, commercial peak shaving, mobile, grid-scale storage, and fleet depot charging. Each project uses one chemistry on the certified DC bus; XEYAR helps you pick during site assessment.
What markets does XEYAR actively serve?
XEYAR is actively deployed across the USA, Canada, GCC, and MENA, with India expansion underway. 3,500+ units installed across 39 countries over the past decade through OEM partnerships. North America service is administered directly by XEYAR for FEOC compliance and warranty consistency.
What certifications do XEYAR products carry?
XEYAR products are certified under UL 9540 (3rd Edition), UL 9540A, UL 1973, UL 810A, UL 1741, UL 2202, UL 2594, IEC 62619, UN38.3, CSA C22.2, ETL, cUL, and meet OCPP 1.6 / 2.0.1 protocols. The patented shared DC bus architecture is certified under UL 9540 3rd Edition for both supercapacitor and sodium-ion chemistries. Products are NEVI-aligned (US), ZEVIP-eligible (Canada), Buy America / BABA compliant, and FEOC-compliant for Section 30C federal tax credit.
What is XEYAR's patent?
The XEYAR patent (USPTO Patent Pending) covers the Modular Battery-Buffered Clustered EV Charging System invented by Sal Möten. The core innovation is a shared DC bus architecture where multiple energy sources (utility grid, solar PV, wind, generator) feed a bidirectional Power Conversion System (UL 1741), which routes power into a single DC bus boundary (UL 9540 3rd Edition). The same DC ESS architecture supports both EV charging clusters and standalone BESS deployments — letting XEYAR deliver 15 distinct products on one certified platform.
