The World Has an Energy Storage Problem
Roughly 550 GW of wind and solar capacity has been installed globally, yet a significant share of that clean generation is lost each year to curtailment because durable, always on stationary storage is not in place to capture it. The storage needed to hold this energy and release it on demand has not existed at the right combination of cost, cycle life, and safety.
